Robert Abbott wrote an article on gurufocus showing how to earn extra income by writing covered calls on Disney (DIS). He mentions the rewards and risk reduction that go along with covered call writing. He points out that Disney's 1.5% dividend combined with 4.3% annual call premium (in his conservative example) creates an annual yield of almost 6%.
