9 Goldman Picks For 2019 Revenue Growth |
"We expect investors will soon look past 2018 and focus on 2019 growth," says Goldman Sachs strategist David Kostin. "For many years, beginning in July investors would start to value stocks based on the following year's profit outlook."
Wall Street is modeling 2019 S&P 500 sales growth of 5% but, Goldman's new "high revenue growth stock basket" could notch sales growth of several times that in 2019. The 9 stocks on Goldman's Hot List for 2019 are:
ALGN,
AMZN,
ADSK,
COG,
and 5 others.

7 Fast Growing Stocks |
Louis Navellier is a renowned growth investor. In his recent article on fast growing stocks he names firms with solid sales earnings growth as well as technical and fundamental strengths that should keep the profits rolling. He believes these stocks will do well in today's environment, as central banks begin to slowly increase interest rates.
The 7 stocks Navellier chose are:
KNX,
KRO,
LITE,
and 4 others. Many of them offer in-the-money covered calls with annualized returns over 30%. Check out the blog article, 7 Fast Growing Stocks.

Cloud Kings vs FAANG Stocks |
For the last couple of years there have been many articles written about the FAANG stocks (FB,
AMZN,
AAPL,
NFLX,
GOOGL). Those tech titans have been good to own and good for writing covered calls (as long as you can stomach the volatility -- which, of course, is the source of their fat option premiums).
Last month, TheStreet held an Investor Boot Camp where they discussed 7 stocks that, in their opinion, may offer better opportunities for trading. They are referred to the Cloud Kings because they provide sophisticated cloud-based offerings, and/or are part of the growing global cloud infrastructure. They include:
CRM,
WDAY,
NOW,
SPLK,
and 3 others.
We took the list of Cloud Kings and layered on some covered calls to find many that offered annualized returns over 24%. Check out Cloud Kings vs FAANG Stocks.

Income Investing That Avoids Rising Rate Risk |
Paul Katzeff of Investor's Business Daily wrote about the effectiveness of covered calls today. He points out that Wall Street's smart money uses covered calls frequently to generate more cash flow and yield from their portfolios.
"Covered call options are a strategy that can use stocks in sectors that are bigger beneficiaries of macro economic growth in the U.S. and globally than rate sensitive stocks are," said Justin Christofel, a manager of $16.5 billion BlackRock Multi-Asset Income Fund (BAICX), whose portfolio uses several income investing strategies, including covered call options.
