AZZ, Inc. provides galvanizing services, welding solutions, specialty electrical equipment and engineered services to the power generation, transmission, distribution, refining and industrial markets. It also provides metal finishing solutions for corrosion protection, including hot dip galvanizing to the North American steel fabrication industry. The company operates through two business segments: Energy and Galvanizing Services. The Energy segment manufactures specialty equipment focusing on safe and reliable transmission of power from generation sources to end customers, and a service provider that ensures the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure in the energy markets worldwide. The Galvanizing Services segment provides hot dip galvanizing to the steel fabrication industry through facilities located throughout the South, Midwest, East Coast and Southwest of the United States and in Quebec, Canada. AZZ was founded in 1956 and is headquartered in Fort Worth, TX.
