It is also an active participant in the secondary market, originating residential loans for sale on both a servicing released and servicing retained basis. In addition to interest income on loans and investment securities, it receives other income from deposit service charges, loan servicing fees and from the sale of loans and investments. Banner was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Walla Walla, WA.
