NLASCO operates two insurance subsidiaries, National Lloyds Insurance Co. (NLIC) and American Summit Insurance Co. (ASIC). NLIC is an insurance company on the Lloyd's plan domiciled in Texas. It underwrites fire and limited homeowner's insurance through independent agents. ASIC offers homeowners and property and casualty insurance primarily to manufactured home owners. The company was founded in July 1998 and is headquartered in Dallas, TX.
