Kaiser Aluminum Corp. is a producer of semi-fabricated specialty aluminum products for aerospace, general engineering, automotive and custom industrial applications. The company operates through one segment: Fabricated Products. The Fabricated Products segment also has two other business units: Secondary Aluminum and Corporate & other. The Fabricated Products segment produces rolled, extruded, and drawn aluminum products used principally for aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer durables, electronics, electrical, and machinery and equipment end market segment applications. This segment focuses on products that strategically serve four end market segments, more particularly Aero/HS products, GE products, Automotive Extrusions and Other products. The Secondary Aluminum business unit sells value-added products, such as ingot and billet, produced at Anglesey. The Corporate and Other business unit provides general and administrative support for its operations. Kaiser Aluminum was founded by Henry J. Kaiser in 1946 and is headquartered in Foothill Ranch, CA.
