Extended Business Description
Oil States International, Inc. is an energy services company with a market position as a manufacturer of products for deepwater production facilities and certain drilling equipment, as well as a provider of completion services and land drilling services to the oil and gas industry. The company operates through two business segments: Well Site Services and Offshore Products. The Well Site Services segment provides critical services at the well site, including completion services and land drilling services. Its completion services business provides completion and production related services and equipment and personnel throughout the active regions of the U.S. and Canada. It provides a broad range of completion services for both onshore and offshore operations, such as wellhead isolation equipment, flow back and well testing, wireline and coiled tubing support and production services in addition to technical expertise and service throughout the lifecycle of the well. In addition, the company provides land drilling services in the United States with its fleet of highly mobile and efficient fit-for-purpose drilling rigs which are best suited for drilling shallow to medium depth development wells. The Offshore Products segment manufactures deepwater capital equipment which is used on floating production platforms, subsea pipelines, floating drilling rigs and vessels around the world. Oil States International was founded in July 1995 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
