The Small and Medium Business Solutions segment includes revenue and related expenses from the sale, rental and financing of mailing equipment and supplies for small and medium size businesses to create mail and evidence postage across Canada, U.S., and areas outside North America. The Enterprise Business Solutions segment involves revenue and related expenses from the sale, support, and other professional services of inserting and sorting equipment and production printer systems to large enterprise clients to process inbound and outbound mail. The Digital Commerce Solutions segment comprises revenue and related expenses from the sale and support services of non-equipment-based mailing, customer engagement, geocoding and location intelligence software; cross border e-commerce solutions; direct marketing services for targeted clients; and digital mail delivery service offering. More than 1.5 million clients in approximately 100 countries around the world rely on products, solutions and services from Pitney Bowes. The company was founded by Arthur H. Pitney and Walter Bowes on April 23, 1920 and is located in Stamford, CT.
