SBA Communications Corp. owns and operates wireless communications tower structures, rooftops and other structures that support antennas used for wireless communications. The company operates in two business segments: Site Leasing and Site Development. The Site Leasing segment lease antenna space on multi-tenant towers to a variety of wireless service providers under long-term lease contracts in the United States, Canada, Central America, and South America. The Site Development segment provides end to end services to wireless service providers or companies providing development or project management services to wireless service providers. It also includes consulting and construction related activities. SBA Communications was founded by Steven E. Bernstein in 1989 and is headquartered in Boca Raton, FL.
