Turning Point Brands, Inc. and its subsidiaries manufacture, market, and distribute branded consumer products with active ingredients. The company operates in three segments: Smoking Products, Smokeless Products, and NewGen Products. The Smoking Products segment markets and distributes products primarily used as cannabis accessories, including rolling papers, paper cones, make-your-own cigar wraps, and other related products under the Zig-Zag brand. The Smokeless Products segment manufactures and markets loose leaf chewing tobacco and moist snuff tobacco primarily under the Stoker's and Beech-Nut brands. The NewGen Products segment offers both B2B (Vapor Beast) and B2C (International Vapor Group) online vape distribution platforms along with its new product development business, Nu-X Ventures. Nu-X Ventures develops products with cannabidiol isolate, hemp, nutraceutical, non-tobacco nicotine, and other active ingredients under the Nu-X and Solace brand names. The company sells its products to wholesale distributors and retail merchants in the independent and chain convenience store, tobacco outlet, food store, mass merchandising, drug store, and non-traditional retail channels, as well as through its e-commerce platforms. The company was formerly known as North Atlantic Holding Company, Inc. and changed its name to Turning Point Brands, Inc. in November 2015. Turning Point Brands, Inc. was incorporated in 2004 and is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.
